being auntie
just wanna share some random stuff... today went to loof with the loof lustin guys and roland sent jon ang and i home... on the way we passed by orchard plaza, where 97 is. my old workplace - yes the uber ah beng ah lian place.
there were police around and i thot "ok la normal la... always got police one"
BUT, there was also a small tentage set up!
UGH. yes. we have one less ah beng in the world tonight...
poor thing lor... i suppose it must have been a fight...
the family members were there and they look absolutely distraught...
sigh.

June 4th 2008
Today I auditioned for If There Are Seasons (Tian Leng...)
Today I finally got to speak with Theatre Practice's director Jian Hong. (thanks for dinner & chat!!)
Today one of my cast members was feeling down :/ (feel better soon!)
Today a little girl sitting right smack in the middle of the auditorium scared the shit outta me because she was wearing a mask and I could only see her in semi darkness - i thought she was a freak.
Today someone fainted in the MRT train in Novena - some speculated that she's probably too tired, work OT so not enough sleep and therefore fainted.
Today I took the same train as my Mummy to work.
Today I was not the latest to arrive in theatre.
Today I am thoughtful. Had a good dinner and long chat with Jianhong. It was all very interesting. It's all not settling in me yet; but it was a good stir. Anyway, Jian hong will be helping me with my WCOPA competition pieces and she has suggested that I do "Coffin Too Big For The Hole". I said ok :)
Ok reality check/time check - whatever you call it.
It is June 4th. Flying to LA 16th July. Competition starts 19th July.
Get UR ASS on the songs/monologues girl!!!

1. Go to Esplanade Library - borrow Madame Mao's Memories & Coffin Too Big For the Hole.
2. Decide on my freaking english pop song! (something that shows my personality.. hmmm. what??)

I've got a freaking headache!!!
Finally, the moonbird helmet, mask, that thing on my head, whatever you call it, has succeeded in giving me this headache. Ugh, e weekend shows do kill me.
I'm f***ing tired. craziness. beauty world also not like dat.
Well anyway, Joyce Dunbar, author of Moonbird, came to watch our last show of the day/week! She's profoundly deaf but she speaks very very clearly! Of 'cos, she cried during the performance - I would too, if something I wrote is being translated onto stage.
The stage is just the most amazing place. It can be anywhere you want it to be.
My show's in 2 weeks! Agh agh agh agh!
I'm SO nervous and scared. Having jitters & butterflies in my tummy. craziness. Hope I get over this at least a week before the show.
